We’re looking for a tech-savvy WordPress developer who lives and breathes eCommerce— someone who’s proactive, detail-obsessed, and confident working with custom-coded solutions and popular eCommerce plugin stacks.

We’re a fast-growing brand looking for a trusted partner to maintain, monitor, and optimize our WooCommerce store. From ensuring every checkout runs flawlessly to boosting site speed and usability, we want someone who can take full ownership of our site’s performance and always be thinking one step ahead.

Ideal candidate:

• Proven experience managing an eCommerce platform (especially WooCommerce)
• A keen eye for UX and performance
• Strong grasp of conversion rate optimization, checkout UX, and mobile performance
• Someone who proactively identifies and fixes technical issues before they affect customers
• A detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) to identify improvement areas
• Confident working with custom-coded solutions and popular eCommerce plugin stacks and integrations (Klaviyo, FunnelKit, Stripe, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Experience with debugging tools and methods (e.g. console, logs, Query Monitor)
• Understanding of GDPR and cookie management for eCommerce

Responsibilities:

• Proactively maintain and monitor our WooCommerce store
• Identify and fix bugs, broken flows, and slow-loading pages as soon as they arise
• Ensure basket, checkout, and account areas function flawlessly
• Optimize site performance across devices (especially mobile)
• Keep plugins, integrations, and the platform secure and up to date
• Suggest and implement improvements to drive conversions and speed
